How much is the booking deposit?

A £90 booking deposit is required to secure your inspection date. This amount is deducted from your final invoice. Inspection dates cannot be reserved until the deposit has been received.

How quickly will I receive my report?

Reports are typically issued within 24 hours of final payment. Every report is personally prepared and reviewed by David Matthews, ensuring a consistent standard of quality and accuracy.

What if I need an urgent inspection?

What areas do you cover?

FBSA covers South & West Wales, including Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, and Ceredigion. Inspections outside these areas may be available by prior arrangement.

What will I receive after the inspection?

You will receive a professionally prepared AD4 Methodology Evidence Report (PDF) containing findings, supporting photographs, analysis, grading where applicable, and practical recommendations.

Reports are designed to provide clear, reliable information for property owners, landlords, insurers, housing providers, and other stakeholders.

Who carries out the investigation?

Every investigation is personally conducted by David Matthews, Lead Investigator and Director of FBSA Technology Ltd. We do not use subcontractors or junior technicians, ensuring continuity from inspection through to final reporting.
